DESCRIPTION
We had this 1970 Dodge Challenger SE built from the ground up by our US-based partner, Rick's Hi-Desert Customs. We have named the car Plum Krazy in tribute to the popular 70's retro Mopar colour of the same name. The show-quality paint is finished in a House of Kolor candy purple.
Continuing the retro 70's theme, the custom interior is finished in white leather with purple suede inserts. Plum Krazy is equipped under the hood with a completely rebuilt high-performance 440 big block. It has a brand new 727 transmission connected to a strong posi rear end. To stop this beast we upgraded the front end with an all new Power Disc Brake conversion kit, and completely rebuilt the rear brakes. The brake lines and cables were also replaced. This performance package sits on a set of original Rally Rims with new centre caps and trim rings.
To keep this 'hot ride' cool in summer, we upgraded the old tired air-con with a new vintage Air unit. All of the wiring and electrical components in the engine compartment are brand new with an upgraded Mopar Ignition system. We spared no expense under the hood with all new upgraded parts including the March serpentine set-up together with a new wiring harness under the hood.
