From humble beginnings as a small classic car parts supplier formed in 1995, Ol’ School Garage has grown into a major force in the Queensland custom and classic car industry.

Ol’ School Garage is a family business and is proudly Australian-owned and operated.  We are avid supporters of local businesses and shop locally whenever the opportunity presents itself. 

Meet Ken and Olja Streeter (yes, that is our real last name!), the owner/operators of Ol’ School Garage.

Having a lifelong passion for all things automotive, Ken's journey in the trade began at 13, crafting his first vehicle in his father's garage. Over the decades he has honed his expertise in numerous domains – everything from manufacturing fibreglass body parts to the restoration of early Japanese cars, creating from scratch custom designs through to developing supercharger performance products, and much more.

His involvement with racing over the years is also extensive, ranging from designing and building land speed vehicles as well as circuit cars, and for a time being the crew chief for a pro drift team that won back-to-back Australian titles. This unusual level of passion, understanding and expertise contributes to what sets Ol’ School Garage apart from your average hot rod shop.

Ken's comprehensive understanding of automotive customer service, spares, and aftermarket parts further enriches our offerings, making life easier for our clientele who demand the very best.

Alongside him, Olja takes the wheel with a strong and unique business background. Having managed her accounting practice overseeing multi-million-dollar ventures, her organizational acumen ensures the smooth operation of Ol’ School Garage, with a focus on customer communication throughout every step of a build.
