DESCRIPTION

Ol' School Garage took a customer’s rusty old 55 Chev and transformed it into the car of his dreams.

In true resto-mod style, the only thing of the old car that survived the restoration was the sheet metal. And given we replaced the floor and door panels and fabricated new inner guards, in the end not much of that was left either.

A new firewall was fabricated to ensure the ideal fitment of the big block engine. Painstaking time and effort went into smoothing the engine bay, chassis and panel-beating the hanging panels to ensure perfect panel gaps throughout. 

The chassis has been smoothed and the floor received the same thorough treatment and attention to detail. When the front end was ready to be assembled, Wilwood six-piston drilled and slotted disc brake setup was installed. The front end features tubular suspension components and power rack and pinion conversion.

The end result of our efforts and our client's clear vision was a truly stunning car that is completely at home in a car show as it is on the road. A practical work of art with exceptional performance.
