DESCRIPTION

Ol' School Garage inherited this unfinished project and committed to get it back to its prime. A stack of work has been completed including a nice paint job.

The Fairlane is currently in the paint shop where Jamie and his team are adding some black highlights and maybe some stripes (there is currently an awful lot of white) and fitting a 4" reverse cowl scoop.

The interior has been professionally installed by our expert trimmer. This included re-upholstering the seats. The front seats were rebuilt. The rest of the new interior features door cards and a re-trimmed centre console and dash pad. The headliner, kick panels, wind lacing, carpet and underlay were also fitted with attention to detail.

The 351 features an Edelbrock intake manifold and a Holley carburettor. Our engine builder Craig stripped the engine in preparation for machining and balancing the tough Cleveland. The heads have been reconditioned, ported and fitted with upgraded valve springs.

A new aluminium radiator was sourced and an electric thermo-fan was fabricated to fit. The engine bay and under the dash have been professionally rewired. The transmission has been rebuilt and features a shift kit, a big stall and a trans cooler.

The tail shaft has been balanced with new yoke and uni joints fitted.

Trent started with a set of Flowmaster mufflers and a set of Pacemaker headers and fabricated the rest of the exhaust system with tig-welds featuring mandrel bends and ceramic coating throughout. The exhaust note is crisp and throaty without sacrificing flow.

The wheels are 15" NASCAR-style steel wheels with 10" wide rears.
