A complete HR Holden K-frame, a Holden 186 and a powerglide transmission was brought to us to install into a Holden FB wagon.
The front-end was disassembled, sand blasted, deoxidined, primed and painted satin black.
The front brakes have been re-built and the front-end re-assembled. It looks brand-new.
The engine revealed serious corrosion. The block was disassembled and components sent out for machining. Parts had to be acid bathed. As part of the build, the engine was blueprinted, the head was ported and a cam profile to take advantage of forced induction. The ignition has been upgraded as part of the engine package.
A supercharger kit mounts to the 186. The charger is a Eaton M90 as found in V6 Commodores. It has been reconditioned in-house by our engine builder Craig. All unnecessary studs and brackets have been deleted once the Holley carburettor was fitted.
When the wagon arrived it was immediately put on the hoist so the front-end could be mounted. The engine and transmission has been test fitted. Modification had been made to the inner guard, battery box. transmission tunnel and the intake.
