Thunderbirds are go...

Leon Betts

It has been a long time coming, but our 1966 Ford Thunderbird Town Landau has finally arrived. Why is it that the most sort after cars are the last to arrive?

So for all those people who have expressed an interest in this car, it has now had a bath and is ready for your inspection. Although our mechanic hasn't completed his checks, the car seems to run and drive just fine. So we can probably also arrange a local test drive as well.

Cheers Leon

You may recall that I sold this magnificent '55 Ford Thunderbird back in August last year. However, due to unforeseen personal circumstances the original buyer asked if I could help out and buy it back...so I did.

Well, I am pleased to report that today I found a new home for this baby bird in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Not far away from where it went last time.

Thunderbirds are go!!!

This spectacular 55 'Baby Bird' joined our 63, 64 and 66 Thunderbirds in the Ol' School Garage showroom this week. It has all the goodies: both hardtop and soft-top, 292 ci 'Y-block' V8, auto transmission, factory engine dress-up kit, power steering, new seat belts, new 'classic look' stereo with BlueTooth hands free.

Best of all this car is already complied for Qld and comes with around six months rego, so the on-road costs are minimal.

The Baby Bird will be listed on our website sometime next week. I haven't finalised the price yet, but expect it to be priced less than any comparable car currently on the market.

Cheers Leon
