The HJ Monaro was transferred to the paint shop this morning. This is a little earlier in the restoration process then usual. However, with our panel beater Roland overseas on leave, the final adjustments to the metal work, panel alignment and gapping will be undertaken by Jamie, our paint shop manager. This ability for our personnel to work outside their specific trade makes for an efficient workshop. To this end, our apprentices are exposed to all facets of the restoration process during their training at Ol' School Garage.
