So another week gone! That leaves 10 working days before our 32 Roadster must be delivered to the Qld Hot Rod Show. Not everything went to plan this week, so we will be working this week-end. That was inevitable!

Jamie was happy to get the body back in the paint shop. He has almost completed the first blocking pass.

The body went back to the paint shop mid-morning (along with a myriad of items that also need painting). Jamie has almost finished the first blocking pass and he plans to spray the first colour over the weekend.

The motor was disassembled and the block is now in the machine shop.

Jackie has disassembled the motor and sent the block off to be machined. The plan is to get the motor rebuilt by the end of next week. In his spare time, Jackie needs to finish the front and rear suspension so that the chassis and suspension components can be painted.

Now the body is back in the paint shop Jackie is able to continue with fabricating the front and rear suspension.

The schedule has become such a farce, that even Serge and I have been enlisted to help out where we can. Normally we are banned from touching anything remotely technical/mechanical. As the saying goes, desperate times call for desperate measures.
