I'm spending the Easter long weekend with a couple of old mates in Queenstown on New Zealand's South Island. The primary reason for the visit was to spend a couple of days at the Warbirds Over Wanaka air show (World War II era aircraft are a passion of mine).
We have also managed to fit in a visit to the Warbirds and Wheels museum at Wanaka and Bill Richardson's Transport World in Invercargill (both are well worth a look if you are over this way). Unfortunately, the hardware store in Invercargill that houses Burt Munro's 'World' Fastest Indian' was closed.
Back home tomorrow...a short but very enjoyable weekend.
