The 29 Model A Roadster we recently purchased was complete except for a boot lid. I had hoped to buy one locally, but none were available. No worries! Adam and Roland set about building one from scratch.
They made templates of the curvature of the opening and set about cutting, bending, shrinking, stretching, reinforcing and welding the new lid.
This was not a job for the faint hearted...nothing on an 80 year old car is square and the lid tapered from top to bottom and front to back!
These are pretty clever blokes.
