I guess it was inevitable that Alex, our paint shop apprentice, would get the job of stripping the paint from the cab of our 1955 Chevy Pickup. After two solid days of stripping and scraping, late this afternoon he had just about finished the chemical stripping of the outside of the cab.
Tomorrow Alex will start sanding the surface of the cab to remove any residue remaining after the stripping process. After this he will start stripping the old paint off the inside of the cab. To break the monotony, Alex will get to dioxidise and paint the pickups panels when they return from the sand blaster.
Great work Alex!
