A friend of a friend contacted me recently. He had his '57 Oldsmobile 2-door Hardtop painted some time ago but it has sat uncompleted in his shed ever since. Not wanting to see this magnificent car sit idol any longer, our mutual friend had recommended he give Ol' School Garage a call to see if we could help get the project completed.
This isn't unusual. Although painting a car is an expensive exercise, it can often be the easy part of a DIY restoration...just disassemble the car, pick a colour and deliver your it to a competent panel shop.
But the project often comes to a grinding halt when the car is ready for assembly. This is when the time consuming, and often complex, work begins. And as a rule, people are generally time poor.
Anyway, back to the Olds. Our customer has asked us to give the project a boost by finishing off all mechanical, suspension and wiring work so he can get the car running and driving. And of course, we are more than happy to do so.
Whether you require a total restoration or help with a specific restoration activity, Ol' School Garage is happy to assist. Like you, we just want to get your classic back on the road.
