Our fab shop manager and in-house engine guru, Craig 'Jackie' Johnston, has been busy building engines. I took a peek in his engine room today and this is what I found...
The Chevy small block with the headers attached is waiting to go back into our 1960 Impala 'Bubble-top'. Jackie did a full rebuild on the car's original 283 including a new tough cam and a valve job. These upgrades will allow the engine to punch well above its weight. Follow this link for more info https://olschoolgarage.com.au/1408-sales-gallery.
The small block without rocker covers is the Chevy small block out of the 57 Olds featured in yesterday's post. It received a facelift and a number of performance upgrades including alloy heads, new rods and rockers and an alloy intake manifold.
You will also see a very tough 351 Windsor that Jackie re-built and waiting to go into a customer's XE Falcon we are restoring. There is also a LS block earmarked for the Ol' School Garage '57 Chev Wagon drag car. We plan twin turbos for this beast.
