Ol' School Garage closes mid-day Friday for the Christmas and New Year period. So the lads are head-down-bum-up this week finishing off a few tasks and cleaning up before a well earned break. We'll be back at it on Monday 4 January.
Here are some pics of what we are up to this week.
Adam grinds the rear arch on our XY pro-streeter project after modifying the trailing edge to fit some huge rubber.
Trent is assembling the HJ 1-tonner that Jamie painted last week.
Andrew fits up the front of our ZC Fairlane project...the interior is also going in this week.
Alex is working his way around the HQ doing the first body work pass before Jamie takes over (apparently hack work is for apprentices, the glory is for the tradies!).
Roland is installing the eBrake system in our 65 Mustang project...he is just about finished mocking up the car so it can go to the paint shop for body work and paint.
And as per yesterday's post, the 55 Chevy pickup is now on the Sunshine Coast in the hands of its very happy owner...feedback from Warren this morning is that the truck gets plenty of looks...who would have thought!
Roland took some time out of his day yesterday to disassemble our HG Monaro resto project and prepare a list of parts he requires...we plan to make a start on this project early next year.
Our hot rod trimmer is up from his home in Adelaide this week to trim our 1929 Model a roadster...we plan to rego it this week so you may see me driving it around over the Christmas break.
The 56 Olds is just about done...Jamie just has to do a few paint touch-ups before going back to the owner this week.
