I am a sucker for any car built in 1960...so I was never going to let this beauty pass me by.
This original, un-restored Pontiac Venturer 'Flat-Top' is a true time capsule. The owner tells me it was sitting for a long time in a private garage when he stumbled across it. He went through the fluids, rebuilt booster and master cylinder, flushed the engine, rebuilt radiator, put new spark plugs and leads along with a new rotor. And hey presto...one smooth running engine and a car that is mechanically very sound.
The interior is original and absolutely stunning. The seats, door panels are in great condition, but not surprisingly, the driver side front has some wear. As you will see in the photos, the headliner is in remarkable condition. The interior and exterior chrome is not perfect, but it is all there and is quite presentable. The exterior has surface rust and the previous owner chose to leave as is...character lines! It also has a few dings and dents that are all easily repairable. It does have one bit of known rust on driver side front guard (see photo).
It has dealer option Mark IV Air Conditioner unit that looks to be intact but it is untested. And on the quirky side, it also has a CB unit which is also untested.
